Rudy Villarreal, Lead Planter
God saved me the day before my High School graduation through the ministry of FCA. I then attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where we started Campus Crusade for Christ. Upon graduating, I led Campus Crusade for Christ and was a College Director at Bayshore Bible Church. My wife and I, moved to attend seminary at Southwestern Theological Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth. I became a High School teacher and was a Pastoral Intern for several years at Metro Bible Church. I also served as a Youth Minister at Metro and at Kingdom Chapel in Saginaw. I graduated from seminary from Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, TX. We have four children, two girls and two boys. After my graduation we felt led after a prayer retreat in Waco as a family to move to San Antonio and plant a Bible teaching Church. This Church is Hometown Church, and our heart is to teach people the Word of God. I am very passionate about people getting in the Word and learning about God through encountering His Bible.
